Just recently organized by member-agencies of the Palawan Research and Development Consortium as its information hub, the Palawan Knowledge Platform came into being during the June 10, 2014 meeting of its steering committee  at the PCSDS in Brgy.Sta.Monica, Puerto Princesa City. The Knowledge Platform shall chronicle the wealth of information generated from the researches and studies undertaken by agency partners these past years. The contribution of external collaborators and donor institutions will also be highlighted through the respective reports that will be subsequently posted in the Knowledge Platform. The memorandum of cooperation, an instrument reinforcing the agreement of PARDEC members to share valuable information on the environment and sustainable development, will ultimately be circulated to the agencies after the final draft was agreed on by the steering committee members during the aforesaid meeting. The Palawan Council for Sustainable Development led by Executive Director Nelson P. Devanadera offered to establish and is now managing the website of the platform.
